What it's costing you

  1. Not in the Google Maps top 3
  2. About 1 new Google review a month vs 10
  3. Named in 13% of AI answers vs 47%
See the method

We will not invent your numbers. Here is how the three biggest gaps turn into money, with the public inputs filled in and your private ones left blank. We fill them in with you on the call.

  1. Not in the Google Maps top 3

    • Published click share says the 3 Maps spots take about 48% of clicks (17.6%, 15.4%, 15.1%). Below the top 3 the share drops sharply.
    • Monthly Calgary searches for the 5 money terms: ____ (needs a paid keyword tool)
    • Share of Maps clicks that become an enquiry: ____ (your call tracking)

    searches x about 15% (spot 3) x enquiry rate = extra enquiries a month

  2. About 1 new Google review a month vs 10

    • Reviews in the last 90 days, you 5 and Competitor A 10+ in one month (our count)
    • Recent reviews are a known Maps ranking factor, so this gap feeds gap 1

counted inside gap 1, not added twice

  3. Named in 13% of AI answers vs 47%

    • Our 45-answer test (5 questions, 3 tools, 3 runs)
    • Share of your leads that start in an AI tool: ____ (ask new leads "how did you find us")

    AI-sourced leads x (47% / 13% - 1) = leads you would add at the leader's rate

Then extra enquiries x your close rate ____ x your average job value ____ = revenue a month. For scale only, your own site quotes most projects at $50,000 to $65,000.

From Published local-pack click-share figures (17.6% / 15.4% / 15.1% for spots 1-3), as quoted in 2025-26 CTR roundups; original study not yet verified by us, checked 2 Oct 2026 and Google Maps, 5 searches from central Calgary (basement development, renovation, finishing, legal basement suite, basement contractors), checked 2 Oct 2026 and Google reviews sorted by newest, each company's profile, checked 2 Oct 2026 and our test of 5 questions x 3 AI tools (Perplexity Sonar, GPT-4o mini, Gemini 2.5 Flash) x 3 runs = 45 answers, checked 2 Oct 2026 and reimaginebuilders.com service page, checked 2 Oct 2026.

How to read the scores

Your overall score is a weighted average of every scored check. The 3 groups regroup the same checks. Reviews, Maps position, lead capture and speed to reply count most, because they move revenue most. Video, social and ads count least. Google Business Page is scored by how much of a 6-point profile checklist you meet, and it counts about as much as the proof on your site. The new social, search and first-screen rows are shown for comparison and do not change any score yet. 2 areas are left out of the score for now, not scored as zero. Meta Ads is never scored, because running no ads is a choice. Speed to Reply is not tested yet.

  • Get Found 36 AI Search, SEO, Google Business Page and Google Maps Search
  • Get Chosen 69 Website Quality, Reviews, Social Media, Referring Sites and Core Message
  • Get the Lead 60 Google Paid Ads, Meta Ads and Speed to Reply

Every score runs from 0 to 100 and comes from things anyone can check from the outside: your website, your Google profile, review sites, social pages, ad libraries and AI answers.
